Vice President- Business Development, NAM Financial
Institutions
We are looking for an experienced people leader to join our
fast-paced Issuer BD team to support and develop the sales
professionals and drive accelerated share shift. We win through our
people, service, process, products, and value propositions. In this
high-profile, customer-facing position you will:
* Lead a Business Development team with primary responsibility for
share shift among US community and regional financial institutions
- hire, lead, coach, and develop top talent
* Develop a deep understanding of issuer needs, strategic
priorities, and market dynamics.
* Work with internal business partners to build value propositions
and positioning that maximize value and enhance Mastercard win
rates
* Drive Mastercard\s go-to-market strategy with your partners
across all Mastercard products and services
* Work with cross-functional partners to streamline processes,
promote compelling value propositions, and remove barriers to allow
the team to accelerate success
* Manage pipelines, priorities, sales strategy, and internal
reporting
* Promote a positive culture of success, growth and inclusion that
positions the team as a high-performance destination team where top
talent aspires to be
* Your team will lead all aspects of customer proposals and deal
execution (including prospecting, business case development,
commercial terms structuring, negotiations, and legal contracting)
in close collaboration with key business partners (finance, legal,
product, marketing, and innovation)

* You are an experienced leader who will empower and maximize the
results of the team - hire, train, support and develop top
talent
* You are a partnership person with exceptional communication
skills; you build trust, credibility, and confidence - both with
internal and external stakeholders
* With your executive presence and masterful communication skills
(written, oral), you are always ready for prime time (e.g.,
internal and external presentations; briefing senior-level and
C-suite executives)
* You are a data-driven, strategic thinker with financial acumen;
and a deep curiosity that inspires you to deep dive on complex
topics and unstructured problems to deliver creative solutions.
* You leverage your Mastercard, processor, and consultant knowledge
to address ambiguity and changing market conditions
* Extensive experience with business development, strategy, and
execution in financial services, processing, and related products
and services.
* Demonstrated success in introducing existing and new/emerging
solutions into the US market and knowledge of the key drivers and
influencers of brand and network decisions
* Bachelor\s degree required
* Travel required
