results, you’ll thrive here. About the Role: We’re looking for a US
GAAP Financial Reporting Senior Accountant to support the
preparation, consolidation, and reporting of financial statements
in accordance with U.S. GAAP. You’ll play a key part in ensuring
accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while
partnering closely with the broader Finance team and supporting
audit and regulatory activities. The ideal candidate brings strong
technical accounting skills, sharp attention to detail, and the
ability to perform effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
Experience with life and annuity insurance companies is a strong
plus. What You’ll Do: Financial Reporting & Close Activities
Prepare and record journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and
annual financial reporting close cycles Ensure accurate and timely
reporting of financial data in accordance with U.S. GAAP Assist in
preparing quarterly, semi?annual, and annual consolidated financial
statements Reconciliations & Account Management Perform
reconciliations of general ledger balances back to source data
Review, monitor, and resolve suspense account balances, taking
corrective action as needed Ensure proper intercompany eliminations
within the financial reporting and consolidation system Compliance,
Audit & Controls Support Collaborate closely with the Finance team
to ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements Support
external auditors and state examiners by providing requested
documentation and analysis Maintain accountability for the quality,
accuracy, and integrity of financial data Collaboration &
Continuous Support Partner with cross?functional Finance colleagues
to support reporting processes and improvements Perform additional
responsibilities as required to support departmental and
organizational goals What You Bring: Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting 4 years of professional accounting experience Experience
preparing financial reports and consolidated financial statements
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP Experience with consolidation;
required Advanced Excel proficiency, including complex spreadsheet
functions Strong analytical, organizational, and problem?solving
skills High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy
and quality Ability to work independently in an autonomous
environment while meeting tight deadlines Proven ability to manage
multiple priorities in a fast?paced, deadline?driven setting
Demonstrated initiative and willingness to take on new and
challenging assignments Experience with life and annuity insurance
companies and/or Oracle systems is a strong plus Proficiency and
accuracy in working with financial systems and databases Core
Competencies U.S. GAAP Financial Reporting: Strong understanding of
U.S. GAAP requirements and experience preparing accurate, compliant
financial statements. Consolidation & Technical Accounting:
Demonstrated expertise in intercompany eliminations, ledger
reconciliations, and consolidated financial reporting. Data
Accuracy & Attention to Detail: High standards for accuracy,
completeness, and integrity of financial information. Analytical
Thinking & Problem Solving: Ability to analyze financial data,
identify discrepancies, and implement effective solutions. Time
Management & Execution: Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines
and deliver results in high?pressure reporting cycles.
Collaboration & Communication: Effective communicator who
collaborates well with Finance partners, auditors, and regulators.
