Job Description:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESOTR is seeking a Research Associate to
join its global team covering media and internet. The individual in
this role will be connecting with media industry professionals to
facilitate in-depth interviews and contribute to research reports.
The Research Associate will also analyze research data and
facilitate research report preparation and conduct secondary
research. They will work closely with senior researchers in the
Global Media team to provide relevant and timely marketplace
intelligence. Candidates with previous experience in the
advertising and media industry are preferred, as key
responsibilities of this role will include in-depth interviews with
media professionals. This is a unique opportunity to work with and

companies in the securities industry.PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONAL
QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum 1-3 years' experience or applicable academic
record, researching, analyzing and/or writing about media and
advertising trends; prior experience in media buying and planning,
working as strategist or researcher, and knowledge of the financial
industry and investment basics a plus.Understanding of the key
trends shaping the advertising and media industry and key media
companies, and an ability to identify and articulate inflections in
those trends.The ideal candidate is persistent with networking and
is able to develop and maintain industry relationships and engage
contacts for recurring in-depth dialogue. An established network of
contacts in the media and advertising industry is a
plus.Exceptional communication and analytical skills, attention to
detail, ability to "connect the dots" and clearly articulate
research conclusions.Strong organizational and project management
skills, proactive thinking, ability to meet deadlines, multi-task
and work under pressure. The candidate must be a fast
learner.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience aggregating,
organizing and analyzing data.Proven ability to work well within
teams, self-motivated, showing initiative, a positive attitude and
