Reporting into Slice s President, the SVP Marketing will be
responsible for building a world class marketing function at Slice.
This person will be charged with shaping and advancing the company
s message and brand across all omni-channels utilizing market
analysis, trends and customer insights. As an executive member of
the Slice leadership team, the SVP Marketing will play an integral
role in the company s growth. This position will lead and develop
the marketing function and oversee global marketing strategies
including but not limited to: product marketing with a focus on
B2B, content & communications, brand marketing and performance
What You ll Do
Lead, organize and build a high-performing team to support the
marketing organization's mission and overall company roadmap. Drive
strategy and execution to scale a robust marketing
Define the messaging and positioning for Slice s go-to-market
strategy for any new product features and launches. This includes
all internal and external communication, pricing decisions,
customer segmentation, program rules, and metrics to measure
Establish a vision for Slice s brand on a global scale through
message creation/refinement and communications. Refine a strong
company image and 'buzz' around Slice s products and services.
Ultimately, building an iconic and trusted brand for small
Drive a data-driven approach to product and performance marketing,
along with brand and creative, that promotes the measurement of
demand generation and brand affinity.
Constantly assess business needs, Slice s competitive landscape and
the company s value proposition through qualitative and
Collaborate with Product teams to continuously shape company
roadmap based on customer needs; represent our shops voice when
partnering with all organizations at the company.
Oversee and analyze integrated lead generation efforts across
multiple channels, including identifying opportunities to improve
engagement and conversion.
Develop a set of marketing KPIs to evaluate performance of
marketing team efforts.
Evaluate and lead an evolution of the martech stack as Slice
What We re Looking For
15+ years experience in a leadership role in a marketing function
at companies that ideally cater to the SMB (small- and medium-
sized businesses). Must have demonstrated strength in strategically
building and managing a large marketing team.
Marketing generalist with a hyper-analytical, data intensive
approach. Particular strength in the areas of product, performance
and growth marketing.
Previous experience building or working within high quality brands
in similar scale to Slice; experience supporting new product
launches or entering new business segments/verticals.
Business oriented, high impact, pragmatic executive leader. Ability
to effectively partner with, and influence the executive team.
Deep background in consumer or low-friction SMB marketing
Proven experience hiring, developing and retaining Director/VP
Prior success leading significant company-wide marketing strategies
Has operated in a customer driven world class marketing
Strong ability to initiate, manage, and drive projects to
High EQ & IQ - a systems thinker. Analytical and structured in
their approach to solving complex business problems.
Entrepreneurial leader with a driving desire to win big in the

Salary Range: $215,000 to $315,000 annually + bonus & equity.
