Foodie Card is a leading mission based marketing company that supports restaurants, consumers and those less fortunate - ready to dive in?
We are looking for a competent Business Development Managers to build our restaurant footprint across NY, NJ, CT and PA. You'll be directly responsible for the preservation and expansion of our restaurant base. This will require both outside sales and inside sales. You'll be visiting restaurants and following up over the phone. The ideal candidate will have talent in sales and experience in customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional able to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach. The goal is to find new restaurant opportunities and turn them into long-term relationships. This position is listed as full-time, but part-time will be considered as well.
There is a ton of opportunity within this position. We're looking for great candidates that want to get in on the ground level of a high-growth company.
This position will predominantly be on the road pitching restaurants. However, candidate will have the opportunity to work from our office in Syosset, NY or work remotely as needed. We're looking for self-motivated individuals.
Responsibilities
Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnerships - Visit restaurants and bring them into the Foodie Card network.
Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers' dedication
Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
Skills
Proven experience in sales, or in other sales/customer service role
Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
Organizational and time-management skills
A business acumen
Enthusiastic and passionate
