Maximizing patient satisfaction is the Office Manager's primary objective.Responsibilities:Serve as an on-site resource to support patients, staff and providersMaintain standards for facility appearance, patient and employee experience, professionalism and productivityCreate an environment to foster a positive office cultureEnforce implementation of company policies and protocolsEnsure staff is working productively and professionally throughout all working hoursHire, train and evaluate new staff membersCollaborate with management/HR on staff reviews, feedback and disciplinary actionFacilitate billing inquiries from patients; address billing/coding issues with staff or providersReconcile daily payment collections; make bank deposits and file reportsMaintain office and medical supplies for inventory and clinical complianceComplete monthly staff schedules and arrange for coverage/review and approve employee payroll timecardsWork alternate hours: morning, evening, and weekends shiftsCommunicate with Administration team regularly to provide updates of any issues resolvedDelegate door to door marketing and ensure spreadsheet is updated weeklyFollow up with correspondence of surrounding ProHEALTH organizations by collaborating with alternate Office Managers to build a strong connection between UC, Primary Care and SpecialistsEnsure after Care Coordination is completed daily by monitoring referral buckets and connecting patients with ProHEALTH providers at check outPerform other job-related duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, management, or related field preferred. 3-5 years progressive experience in a medical office environment. Supervisory or management experience in the medical field preferred.Knowledge of managed care companies and other insurance carriersStrong customer service skills.
