Job TitleDirector, Product DevelopmentAs Mastercard executes on its multi-rail payment strategy to grow share beyond cards and capture account-to-account volumes, Account tokenization and A2A payments for P2M and Bill Payments represents NPP applications that are truly rail-agnostic and seeks to deliver a smooth, intuitive consumer and customer experience in everyday habitual payments.This role will be responsible for product development responsibilities globally and at market level. Responsibilities include collaborating and partnering with business teams. Key activities includes: Define and execute on product strategy for real-time ACH consumer applications; responsible for the launch, scaling, and management of products across markets globally Define product requirements, new capabilities, and roadmap by working closely with various groups across the organization. Ensure collaboration and influence across MC teams in product (core and digital), marketing, legal/franchise, and regions/markets to implement product strategy Design and develop new products and services by assessment of current platforms, assets and partners (internal and external) to evaluate product feasibility, address product viability, including regulatory environment and market dynamics and their implications Develop and refine schemes and rules governing applications to ensure consumer protection, brand promise, and proper functioning of the payment application ecosystem Engage with regional and market partners to evaluate and support on commercial opportunities and partnerships, lead business cases and pricing initiatives to enable effective go-to-market Drive market research with end-users (consumers/merchants); gather insights to refine product roadmap, requirements, and positioning Develop content for sales enablement and communications, including foundational sales materials, demos/prototypes, toolkits, liaising with marketing and communications for internal and external socialization and selling Leverage a variety of technology frameworks and methods to develop and promote technology architecture that drive strategic alignment of IT with business Drive the technical solution and provide technical and advisory support to ensure the development and implementation of applications that provide adherence to business requirementsAll About You Thrive in a fast- paced, entrepreneurial environment Payments industry knowledge Ability to translate technical information into business concepts and back Ability to effectively collaborate in a geographically distributed environment Payments technology knowledge or experience in the industry Leadership skills: Must be able to navigate complex relationship scenarios & able to influence others without direct reporting relationships Presentation skills: Must have persuasive presence and ability to effectively communicate technology to business people and business to technology people Organized, with an ability to provide expert facilitation skills in environments where the team agenda is not clear and the obvious solutions are not always best suited from a strategic point of view High-energy, can-do attitude, very strong sense of ownership and desire to succeed with commensurate analytical, technical and strategic skills Ability to act effectively as a Mastercard brand ambassador Provide advanced business and technical knowledge for the technical solution development Strong understanding of software methodologies, principles, theories and conceptsCOVID-19 Considerations We value the safety of each member of our community because we know we're all in this together.
