Job TitleManager, Financial Planning & AnalysisOverviewThe Leader, Financial Analysis is an integral contributor to the development and analysis of the consolidated financial budget, forecasts and reporting for Global People & Capabilities. This role assists in understanding MasterCard's business unit and overall company performance. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Role Monthly financial reporting - Manage the reporting package; prepare monthly reporting for Worldwide Finance including variance analyses, pacing,year over year trends, FX and other ad hoc analyses; support business units within P&C with management reporting, Hyperion support and financial analysis Quarterly forecast process - Consolidate and review forecasts based on underlying business drivers (including cadence review); creation of templates and Hyperion reports as required to reconcile and support the forecast reporting process; prepare and analyze quarterly forecast roll-forwards (vs. prior forecast, budget and prior year); perform risks & opportunities analyses Annual budget process - Review submission of budgets (in Hyperion) to ensure budget compliance; review, analyze and report key business drivers. Cross functional collaboration is essential throughout the process Strategic Reporting - Consolidate and provide financial analysis on strategic initiatives through the Hyperion strategic planning tool. Work closely with the regions and business units to ensure accuracy and completeness FTE reporting - Work with P&C on financial and FTE related matters Hyperion Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Serve as a main point of contact of all business unit related Hyperion inquiries Support of Worldwide MasterCard initiatives where applicable Ad-hoc reporting - Support ad-hoc reporting analyses as required, which includes managing special projectsAll About You : Demonstrated knowledge and experience with all phases of financial planning and management, budgeting and forecasting Strong analytical skills Proven skills communicating with all levels of management Excellent oral and written communication skillsSpecial Skills: Excellent PC skills, particularly in Excel. Advanced knowledge and experience with Hyperion is required.Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or AccountingCOVID-19 Considerations We value the safety of each member of our community because we know we're all in this together.
