Job TitleDirector - Consumer Core ProductsOVERVIEWMastercard is looking for a highly motivated team player interested in a cross functional role within the Consumer Products organization supporting our global consumer core product line strategy (PLS) and execution.Reporting to the VP, Consumer Products for Issuers, this person is part of a collaborative team that drives the development and execution of the Company's consumer core value proposition (CVP). Key aspects of the role involve strategy development & execution to ensure global consistency in our core CVP mix of Travel, Everyday Value, and Traditional benefits. Additionally, this candidate will lead strategy efforts to address key segments and/or markets and unlock opportunities where local or economic constraints exists.ROLE* Drive global consistency in our core CVP (e.g. digital consumer experience, value and access benefits) by working closely with the regions to meet the targeted benefit mix and investment levels while ensuring performance results are achieved.* Lead aspects of the CVP strategy development that outline future state needs through market analysis, competitive insights, business case development, and related benchmarking. * Work collaboratively with regional stakeholders to enhance the core CVP narrative; uncovering product performance insights to develop best practices, case studies, and overall thought leadership. * Oversee consumer research initiatives to identify evolving needs that can be used to inform/ validate relevant features and benefits associated with our core CVP.* Develop segment-based value propositions to address emerging opportunities. ABOUT YOU/EXPERIENCE* Passionate about product strategy, design, and development * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify key issues, structure analysis, developing business cases and providing recommendations* Strong storyteller adept at building narratives that inform and persuade others * Comfortable in a global role; adapt personal work style to accommodate an ever changing, diverse group of stakeholders* Self-directed, strong collaborator, ability to work cross-functionally and manage through influence * Strong written and oral communication skills* Bachelor's degree requiredCOVID-19 Considerations We value the safety of each member of our community because we know we're all in this together.
