position is eligible for telework, which is currently one day per

: CON GRADE: 003 SALARY RANGE : $ 95,234 to $119,043 DEADLINE: Open
Until Filled S ummary The Manager, Commissioning will lead MTA
Construction and Development ' s efforts to implement and oversee
commissioning for a significant component of the MTA Capital
Program within the Delivery Department. Responsible for overseeing
and ensuring effective and efficient quali ta tive product s on
systems commissioning and testing functions to support complex
capital projects. Responsibilities Oversees a smaller commissioning
team. Provides direction in evaluating facilities, signal and
telecommunication systems, and/or infrastructure systems.
Accountable for the application of the commissioning process and
achievement of project performance requirements, as identified
during the early stages of a project's lifecycle, along with the
verification/documentation of those requirements through final
design and construction. Assists Project Leadership in resolving
escalated items from design/construction parties. Responsible for
the formalized handover of the asset(s) to the Agency Owner and
required training. Education and Experience Bachelor ' s degree in
Engineering, Architecture, Construction or Project Management,
Facilities Management, Transportation, or a related field. Must
have a minimum of six (6) years of related experience.
Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have focus and ability to deliver results, organizational
effectiveness, and continuous improvement. Must possess excellent
team - building , listening, problem - solving, and prioritization
skills. Proficient computer skills (i.e., Windows environment,
Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Oracle, etc.) and strong business
administrative skills (i.e. , presentations, report and letter
writing, time management, etc.). Other Information Pursuant to the
