The clinic is located in a racially and culturally diverse community and treatment and services are provided in a culturally affirming manner. The clinic serves individuals of all ages and their families and support system. In addition to the main site, the clinic has two satellites located in Bronx Science High School and Lehman High School.As a part of the clinical team, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide care to clients who are experiencing a wide range of behavioral health issues. The services for adults and children include:
    • Psychiatric evaluation;
    • Medication management;
    • Crisis intervention, and;
    • Clinical consultation to the treatment team. Specific responsibilities include:
      • Providing psychiatric services, which include: provision of a full psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medication management and follow up coordination with the clinical team.
      • Participating in shared decision making with the client and the clinical teamTO QUALIFYThe Jewish Board is currently looking for a talented Nurse Practitioners of all cultures, religions, races, and gender expressions with the following qualifications:
        • A Nurse Practitioner degree with specialized training or experience in psychiatry.
        • A current license to practice as a nurse practitioner in NYS.
        • A current DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
        • ANCC certification/pending application.
