We are currently seeking a bright and self-motivated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team as a Clinical Supervisor. This is a full-time position that will be located at one of our three child and family mental health clinics located at: 2857 Linden Blvd., Brooklyn (East New York Area), 102 Pilling St., Brooklyn (Bushwick), and 579 Courtlandt Ave., Bronx (South Bronx).NYPCC is certified by Mental Health America as a Platinum Bell Seal organization, the highest certification possible. If you want to learn more email careers@nypcc.org for more information.**Job DescriptionThe primary role of the Clinical Supervisor is to provide clinical supervision for our Therapists and Interns, as well as direct clinical services as assigned.Responsibilities:Provide clinical supervision for assigned staff therapists and/or interns, addressing development of diagnostic, treatment planning, and intervention skills; processing any counter therapeutic personal issues; resolution of ethical/legal issues; etc.Orient supervisees to agency policies and proceduresReview supervisees' documentation, correct errors, and educate supervisees' as to documentation that is requiredAssist in coordination, development, and/or oversight for selected services or programs, as assignedParticipate in case reviewsConduct and/or assist in supervisee's performance reviewsProvide direct clinical services and attend selected meetingsMeet established productivity set forth by the agencyProvide Program coverage as needed or assignedProvide crisis coverage as neededAssist in training new and existing staffBe on-call for selected weekends and eveningsWorks effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamAll other relevant duties, as assignedQualificationsBe on call during off hours and weekends by cell phone; available for consultation on an as needed basis.Must be a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred but not requiredMust be in bilingual English/SpanishMust have experience with IntakesMust be SIFI certified and have experience supervising InternsStrong casework, group work, and supervisory skillsExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-taskAbility to lead a team effectivelySupervisory Experience: Minimum 5 years in a Clinical SettingClinical Experience working with Inpatient or Outpatient Mental Health: 5 to 10 yearsAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
