The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College of Yeshiva University.Exciting opportunity for Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to be part of a new project. Health + Hospitals is starting an early mobility program in the ICU setting. PTAs will be assisting Physical Therapists responsible for every stage of mobility from bed activities to ambulation. State of the art equipment will be used to help improve mobility. PTAs will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. There will be open communication with the physicians on the unit they are assigned to ensure optimum mobility while maintaining safety and proper precautions.
