We are currently seeking a physician with specialized training or certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. The physician will provide services to our population of clients seeking care for physical states of being unwell with a variety of symptoms that have not remitted with traditional approaches. The facility's focus is truly integrative mind/body with a team of professionals who are certified and able to provide alternative, functional/integrative medicine services. Our clients are seeking a caring professional to take the time to provide full assessments and provide the range of services to help support them in their journey towards health.
Key functions will include:

• 
  
• Building a patient-focused functional medicine practice
  
• Provide care from an Integrative/ Functional Medicine perspective by interviewing, assessing, and treating clinical patients, meeting their medical needs, and improving their quality of life
  
• Educate patients on wellness, prevention, and early detection by providing materials and resources to patients and families
  
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
  
• Present case studies on a monthly basis to promote clinical staff education/ training
  
• Working closely with the Medical Director in clinical program development and implementation
  
• Providing feedback to Medical Director and Practice Administrator on effective mechanisms to improve patient flow, patient care, EMR documentation, diagnostic testing options, and nutraceutical therapeutics.
  
• Providing education to medical staff, residents, and students on functional medicine
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • Integrative/Functional Medicine experience
    
  • Medical Degree from an accredited school
    
  • License to practice in the state of NY
    
  • Board certified in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
