An outpatient clinic is seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist to treat adults and children residing in NYC's shelter system.Bronx, New York is the birthplace of hip-hop culture. Its also home to some major attractions including the Bronx Museum of the Arts, the oldest public golf course in the country (Van Cortlandt), Edgar Allan Poe Cottage, Americas first zoo and NYCs sprawling botanical gardens.The psychiatrist will provide trauma and culturally-informed comprehensive mental health assessment and treatment to the adults and/or children residing in NYCs DV Shelter System and to other survivors of Domestic Violence. This includes psychiatric assessment and consultation, psychopharmacological therapy and other treatment services as appropriate for victims of IPV. Be part of a citywide team of providers that also includes psychologists and social workers. The schedule is full-time.
