providers in 300 locations, our goal is to provide quality health
care to ensure that our patients get the right care at the right
time. The Medical Assistant is a vital member of the ProHEALTH care
delivery team. This position has the responsibility of preparing
exam rooms for patients, measuring vital signs, performing approved
laboratory tests, assisting clinicians with patient care, and
performing a variety of administrative tasks. The MA at ProHEALTH
utilizes a variety of clinical and clerical skills to deliver
excellent patient experiences. Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00
a.m.-6:00 p.m. Off on Fridays. Occasional work half day on Saturday
(8:30-noon) Primary Responsibilities:Prepares exam rooms by
disinfecting, stocking, and verifying appropriate medications are
availableGreets patients and assist them with signing in and
completing paperworkAnswers incoming phone calls in a courteous and
prompt mannerAssists and accompanies patients to exam
roomsInterviews patients and records information into the medical
recordMeasures, collects, and records patient vital signs Performs
basic lab testing and other approved testsDisplays proficient
phlebotomy practicesPrepares specimens for transportation to the
labAssists in examination and treatment of patients under clinician
directionPlaces follow-up phone calls to patientsPerforms other

Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentExperience
with vital signs and basic lab tests (urinalysis, pregnancy tests,
etc.)Proven solid computer skills, proficient in Microsoft
OfficeFull COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of
this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19
booster doses must also comply with those state requirements.
