Job Description:

Academic Hospital in Greater NYC is seeking an Outpatient Psychiatrist due to a pending retirement, hybrid schedule with 3 days WFH, and possibility of 4-day work week. Part of outpatient department that has 7 adult psychiatrists and 1 child psychiatrist Hybrid schedule of 2 days onsite and 3 days from home (could consider 4 day work week) Adult only care - med management appointments and new patient evaluations Expect 1-2 new patients per day, have therapy services on site Clinically rich environment (primarily medicare/medicaid) with a variety of psychopathologies and patients facing many economic pressures and social determinants AllScripts EMR No call required , all emergencies handled by call services and hospital psychiatrists on call Academic environment - typically 3-4 PGY3 residents in the clinic at a time, opportunity to teach if desired Mon-Fri schedule flexible start time 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm - no call, evenings or weekends required Full time position with competitive compensation, benefits, and malpractice coverage
