- - - -Directs daily activities within the department. - - -
-Facilitates employee orientation and training. - - - -Performs
area specific QA/QC procedures. - - - -Performs radiographic
procedures in accordance with the ALARA concept. - - - -Assists
physicians with radiographic procedures. - - -Performs various
operations using radiographic and associated equipment. - -
-Assures maintenance of all radiographic and associated equipment.
- - - -Maintains patient records via appropriate system. - - -
-Performs patient care functions in a safe environment. - - -
-Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. - -
- -Substantiates status of good standing with state and national
licensing/credentialing - - - -agencies by the submission of
appropriate documentation. - - - -Interacts effectively with all
customers. - - - -Assists staff and students in the performance of
radiographic procedures and associated - - - -duties. - - -
-Participates in the evaluation of staff and students as needed. -
- - -Assists with the transportation of patients, maintains work
area and performs basic clerical - - - -duties. -#LI-CU1Experience
RequiredCertificate of completion/Degree from an Accredited
Radiograph Program.Minimum of 3 years clinical experience; biennial
completion of minimum required CE credits to maintain required
certification/accreditationEducation RequirementsHS or
equivalentLicense/Certification RequirementsMust be licensed by the
NJDEPE and credentialed in radiograph and mammography by the
ARRT.Current ARRT - American Registry Radiology Tech
License.Current NJ-RADTECH - NJ Radiology Tech License.CPR
certification
