TravelNurseSource is working with MedCadre to find a qualified Psych RN in Bronx, New York, 10456! About The Position Pay Range: $1170/week - $1400/week; $73/hr. - $88/hr. (based on the experience, miles, and working hours). Position Summary: Must have 1 year of psych experience. Prefer someone with some medical experience (MS, MS-Tele, PCU, ICU, etc.). Do NOT need prior ED experience. Prefer someone with de escalation experience and leather restraint use. Key Responsibilities: 45 beds, divided into sections. 15-45/day. 1:6-12 depending on acuity. 2 triage RNs, 4 RNs designated to adults, 1 RN designated to pediatrics/adolescents, and 1 charge (8 RNs total). Patients with severe mental illnesses and behavioral issues, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma, and more, are often patients who will have multiple comorbidities but are typically medically stable.
