Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Mammography Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Our client is looking to hire a Mammography Tech to join their team at a medical center in New York. This is a temp-to-perm role, and they are open to new grads! Job Function: Day Shift. 8am-4:30pm or 8am-6:30pm. Operate mammographic equipment and other devices, adhering to company policies and protocols. Produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring excellent patient care. Use equipment adjustments (compression, exposure modes, filters, etc.) to produce optimal images. Monitor patient well-being during exams, addressing discomfort or medical concerns as needed. Guide patients through the process, answering questions and addressing concerns. Job Requirements: 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist. ARRT (R)(M) certification required. Active state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology. BLS certification required. Active New York State Department of Health (DOH) license.
