Tender Touch Rehab Services is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our partner healthcare facility. In this role, you will work closely with physical therapists to provide recovery solutions and aid in the rehabilitation of patients after injuries or surgeries. Our ideal candidate thrives in a compassionate and collaborative environment, consistently bringing patience, attention to detail, and a deep care for improving clients' physical health. Assist physical therapists in providing treatments and procedures. Follow treatment plans created by the physical therapist to support patient recovery and enhance skills. Document patient responses to therapy treatments and report outcomes to the supervising physical therapist. Educate patients and family members about treatment plans and maintenance exercises. Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, organized treatment area. Adhere to facility policies and protocols while maintaining patient confidentiality. Experience in utilizing therapeutic equipment and devices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with their physical therapy exercises. Knowledge of compliance with safety and best practice protocols. 401k Valid Physical Therapist Assistant state license. CPR certification preferred.
