What You’ll Do: - Leads, mentors, and manages respiratory care staff, including hiring recommendations, performance evaluations, scheduling, coaching, and promoting professional development. - Develops, reviews, and updates clinical protocols, policies, procedures, competencies, and care standards to ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient care. - Oversees compliance with all state, federal, regulatory, and accrediting requirements; participates in inspections and ensures department readiness. - Serves as a clinical resource to staff and interdisciplinary teams, supporting education, orientation, and ongoing competency development. - Monitors clinical outcomes, identifies opportunities for improvement, and collaborates with leadership to implement effective, efficient respiratory care practices. What We’re Looking For: ? Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of New York ? Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (RRT preferred) ? Master’s Degree strongly preferred. ? Minimum 5 years recent acute care respiratory therapy experience.
