year License: Current and valid state RN License Certifications:
Current BLS certificate upon hire and must maintain current.
Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and must maintain
current. Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 30 days upon
hire and must maintain current. Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation
within 30 days of hire. Must-Have: Minimum of one year experience
as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; Emergency Room
setting preferred. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Description: The
Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient
care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within
the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse directs and guides
patient/family teaching and the activities of other nursing
personnel while maintaining professional nursing care standards.
The Registered Nurse is accountable for the care given to patients
in the Emergency Department. Communicates with the physician about
changes in the patient's clinical condition, including results of
diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Capable of responding
quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or
treatment response. Knowledgeable about regulations and reporting
child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies. Maintains patient
