NY Job Type: Contract Contract Duration: 13 weeks Responsibilities: Critical Care Management: Monitor and manage critically ill post-surgical patients. Administer medications and treatments, oversee life support systems. Assessment and Planning: Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans. Evaluate and adjust care plans based on patient responses. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate medical records. Ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards. Patient Advocacy and Education: Advocate for patients and address ethical concerns. Educate patients and families on postoperative care and signs of complications. Infection Control and Quality Improvement: Implement infection control protocols. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Requirements: Two year of Critical care experience IV Insertion and phlebotomy skill Conscious sedation Active NY License Valid ACLS and BLS Cert
