In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective reprocessing of endoscopic equipment in compliance with all health protocols and standards. Schedule Shifts: Various Day Shifts Duration: 13 weeks Weekend Coverage: May be required On-Call Duties: Some flexibility required Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of endoscopic equipment. Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and calibrated as per manufacturer standards. Document and maintain records of equipment maintenance and sterilization processes. Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations in the reprocessing area. Assist in the training and orientation of new staff in endoscope reprocessing techniques. Requirements Certifications: Certification in Central Processing (CPD) required. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in sterile processing preferred. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in endoscope reprocessing or a similar sterile processing role. Skills: Knowledge of infection control practices and OSHA standards. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently. Compensation $25/HR
