Fulton will provide 135 beds of transitional reentry housing to formerly incarcerated men who would otherwise be homeless after discharge from a correctional facility. Fulton will also provide onsite reentry services, including case management, benefits enrollment, employment, health, and substance use disorder treatment.We are seeking 5 full-time Shift Supervisors. Shift Supervisors provide shift coverage and be on call nights, weekends, and holidays. Employee will be responsible to work various shifts and maintain emergency coverage where necessary. The position ensures the overall operational, and safety of the facility. This position reports to the Director of Security.. Requirements:Responsibilities

  • Supervising Customer Care/Security personnel
  • Assisting scheduling staff and ensuring 24-hour coverage
  • Maintaining, revising, and updating operations logs, records, and forms
  • Ensure the security of the premises and perform access control.
  • Perform regular and frequent foot patrol of the entire facility.
  • Promptly advise appropriate supervisors (Director of Security and Program Director) of problems or concerns.
  • Schedule daily assignments for subordinates, and monitor their performance.
  • Complete Safety Monitor performance evaluations, progress reports, disciplinary memos, and shift assignments.
  • Interact with all clients in a professional and productive manner.
  • Supervise shift, overseeing and performing crisis intervention and addressing operational problems.
  • Supervise and perform all regular client service and reporting tasks.
  • Schedule daily and weekly assignments and monitor functions and participate in the rotation of task assignments.
  • Perform special assignments and shift specific responsibilities as assigned, assuring the provision of services and compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Produce and provide daily census
  • Providing clear direction, information, and assistance to clients, client visitors, vendors, and employees in a professional, pleasant, and courteous fashion on a regular basis and during emergency situations
  • Ensure that all life safety systems and related equipment are fully functional
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.Education
    • High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
    • New York State Security Guard Registration Card.
    • 16 Hour On-The-Job Security Guard Training Certificate.
    • First Aid / CPR Certificate
    • New York Fire Department Certificate of Fitness as Fire Guard, Shelters/ F80 Certification
    • NYS valid driver's licenseRelated Skills and Knowledge
      • Ability to climb 120 standard stairs within 2 minutes.
      • Strong oral and written communication, time management, and organizational skills are necessary.
