Job Description:
Our Challenge
As a Technical Project Manager, you will collaborate across teams
and negotiate to get features built. -You should have a thorough
understanding of and be able to discuss architecture, design, and
more. Using your Java Development knowledge to help guide your team
in providing the best customer experience, you will be responsible
for leading the overall delivery of large-scale engineering
projects.
Additional Information - New York-Based Roles*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and
other factors.
In accordance with New York law, the base salary for this role if
filled within New York is $120k-$130k/year & benefits (see
below).
Responsibilities
Provide strategic thinking and leadership related to a wide range
of applications and systems, or software-development
methodologies
Own the end-to-end ownership of a technology service
Work with business/product owners to develop and deliver new
services
Design, develop, and modify programs and plans while working
closely with the business owners
Requirements
You are:
A graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology,
Computer Science or Management Information Systems (or
equivalent)
A seasoned Technical PM with 10+ years of experience managing large
initiatives
Experienced in Project Management
Coming from a technical background in Java and can understand
large-scale technology solutions
A strong communicator with the ability to interact with
senior-level stakeholders
Able to manage multiple competing priorities, effectively
prioritize them, and keep the team on track for critical
milestones
Highly knowledgeable in Software Engineering Concepts and
Methodologies (a must!)
It would be great if you also had:
Experience in the Payments domain
Understanding and exposure to Cloud/Azure
Understanding and exposure to DevOps, CI/CD
