Job Description We’re hiring an experienced Travel Sterile Processing Technician for a large, busy, state-of-the-art off-site reprocessing center supporting 9 facilities , including tertiary hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. Location: Bethpage, NY Pay: $1,560/week Duration: 8 weeks ? Shifts: Day / Evening / Night – 5x8s Schedule: Every other weekend required Facility Highlights • High-volume off-site reprocessing center • Provides sterile processing & emergency services • Advanced equipment & technology ? Requirements • CRCST or CSPD certification (must remain active during assignment) • Minimum 1 year certified • High School Diploma or equivalent • Experience: 1.5 years with tertiary experience OR 2 years without tertiary experience Ability to rotate through all areas , including decontamination Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs ? Preferred • 2 years of experience Equipment & Systems • STERIS Washers • Autoclaves • IT System: SynergyTrak Responsibilities Include • Decontamination, assembly, sterilization & packaging of instruments • Operating washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic machines & EO sterilizers • Instrument inspection, assembly & tray accuracy • Inventory support and maintaining a contaminant-free environment • Following all department protocols and manufacturer instructions Dress Code • Scrubs provided (laundered on-site) • Shoes, jewelry, hair & beard must be covered • No nail polish Interested or know someone who is?
