We Are Hiring School Transportation Drivers!EBT (Educational Bus Transportation Inc.) -Provides school transportation for various Long Island School Districts.SIGN ON BONUS up to $2500 (Depending on your license level)MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Class B CDL or willingness to obtain Class B CDL US citizen or permanent visa, or authorized work visa Must have a vehicle driver license for at least three (3) Must have an acceptable driver history abstract Must be at least 21 years old Must be physically capable of performing the essential job functions (PPT) Must pass a criminal background check Must comply with all applicable qualifications for employment established by the regulations and by the company Be able to work in a drug and alcohol-free work place subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings No disability or medical issue that would prevent the driver from safely performing the duties of a school bus driver Skills, Knowledge and AbilitiesRESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advises students and other passengers of appropriate behavior to maintaining passenger safety.
• Assists students and other passengers for the purpose of providing safe loading and unloading from buses during normal transport and emergency situations.
• Attends meetings, in-service training, workshops, etc. as required
• Cleans assigned vehicles interior, for appearance, and sanitation of vehicle.
• Conducts emergency evacuation drills, complying with all mandated requirements.
• Drive school bus on scheduled routes to and from school or field trips in a safe and timely manner.
• Informs other school personnel and parents of events, policies and/or provide information and/or clarification of procedures.
• Monitors passengers during transit to ensure the safe transportation of all passengers.
• Perform a thorough Pre and Post Trip Inspection of the vehicle daily, according to requirements
• Prepares reports
• Reports observations and/or incidents to appropriate personnel
• Responds to inquiries from students, parents, and/or staff regarding transportation services.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
