## Job Description: Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services, the Clinician will provide short-term, trauma-sensitive treatment planning and delivery for ACS TFFC. The Clinician will also provide assessment to these assigned youth while maintaining professionalism in all areas, including confidentiality.HOURS PER WEEK:ExemptRegular hours entail 9:00am-5:00pm, Monday - FridayMust be flexibleEvenings and weekends may be requiredFUNCTIONS:Provide individual therapy and group counseling to youthCarry a caseload between 18-25 youth, ages range from 3-17.5 yearsEnter progress notes into the database within 72 hours to support CFTSS BillingComplete biopsychosocial assessments within 30 days of intake and annuallyComplete treatment plans within 30 days of intake and quarterlyComplete monthly clinical summaries for youth on medication management regimeComplete case summaries and/or court reports for youth to support permanency/placement goalsAdminister required behavioral and mental health assessments for youthCoordinate services for each youth in conjunction with case managerProvide therapy during traditional and non-traditional hours including weekends and eveningsParticipate in 24 hour on-call phone availability for program youth and foster parentsAttend weekly clinical team meetingsAttend weekly staffing meetingsAttend weekly group therapy sessionsProvide record keeping and documentation for all clinical activities (case documentation) ## Experience and Skills:License in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling with experience in strength-based family and childrens servicesOne year of postgraduate direct service delivery experience preferredExperience with a strength based, cognitive behavioral, and trauma sensitive approach to treating troubled youth preferredStrong proficiency with completing the administrative components of treatment (case documentation) required.Ability to handle confidential material in a responsible mannerAbility to work well with people from many cultures including recent immigrants, non-English speakers, and LGBTQ childrenBi-lingual - English-Spanish required. All agency documents and records are in English, so English writing proficiency required. Position itself requires Spanish speaking, writing, and reading proficiencyValid NYS Drivers License requiredAbility to travel to other agency locationsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Word processing: Including responding to e-mails, composing letters, completing computerized documentation, transcribing minutes for meetings, etc.: This involves sitting at a computer for several hours a dayCompleting paperwork - Such as copying and staplingStand for several hours to meet tutoring needsMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsSit/ride in vehicles, busses, subways, trains, plains - public transportation for lengthy periods of timeWalk up/down stairsWalk to enter/exit subway and other public transportationWalk several blocks to get to required location ## Benefits As a full time benefits position, staff is eligible to enroll in medical, dental, vision, FSA, supplemental life insurance, critical illness, enhanced short-term disability, and 401(k) benefits.
