Sodexo is currently seeking a Chef
Manager to join a Corporate Services account located in
Bronx, New York.. This is a hands on Chef Manager
in charge of cooking, ordering, HR, menu development, and all
financials. At this account we feed 20 retired priests out of
a dining room. There is no catering and will be restaurant style.
This Chef Manager will directly supervise 6 Sodexo
frontline(hourly) non-union employees and report directly into a
District Manager. This site cooks 3 meals a day 7 days a week for
the brothers that live onsite.
We are looking for candidates who will:
manage the daily food production including production planning and
ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and
manage food costing, controls and compliance
develop menus and manage inventory
have high expectations for customer service and quality of
have the ability and willingness to develop and train frontline
have a passion for food and innovation
This Chef Manager will work Tuesday through Saturday- Tuesday
Wednesday and Thursday is 6am-2pm then on Friday and Saturday the
shift is 9am-7pm.

smaller units within a multi-location.

Basic Education Requirement

Diploma or GED or equivalent
