responsible for performing office management and administrative
tasks in support of the Human Resources Department. Performs a
variety of complex administrative duties and special projects
through frequent use of independent thought and judgment. Provides
administrative and project management support to the Senior Vice
President and Director of Human Resources.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of the
Administrative Assistant Human Resources will include, but are not
limited to the following: Performs office management tasks
requiring prioritization; coordination of information from and
acting as liaison to other departments. Utilizes independent
judgment in order to complete assigned tasks and projects. Maintain
integrity of labor distribution and position control. Assist with
the input of employee data into HRIS/Payroll system. Arranges
schedule of appointments for supervisor. Answers telephone calls
and greets visitors for the Human Resources Department; exercises
discretion when assisting or providing information to callers and
visitors. Directs all important situations, inquiries and questions
to appropriate party. Processes all record requests, including
retention and retrievals. Types memos, policies, minutes and other
assigned tasks. Compiles a variety of statistical reports through
HRIS; determines proper format for finished reports. Maintains
office supply inventory, ordering supplies by originating
requisitions and monitoring receipt of supplies. Sorts and
distributes in-coming mail, packages and faxes to appropriate
party. Establishes, maintains, revises and updates the filing
system for Human Resources Department. Performs photocopying and
collating as needed. Performs ongoing administrative tasks such as
setting up meetings and reserving conference room. Maintains
employee-related data bases. Prepares and analyzes reports that are
necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company.
Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or
requested. Provide support for HR Administration and HRIS. Research
and resolve problems. Provide backup for Payroll. Document workflow
and work procedures and conduct appropriate audits to ensure data
integrity. Performs other related duties as
requested.QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an
individual must be able to perform each essential duty

and understand English Excellent interpersonal skills are required
in order to interact effectively with employees, co-workers, other
departments, outside contacts, etc. Due to sensitive nature of the
position, must be able to maintain the strictest confidentiality
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
simultaneously Proficient in MS Office products including Word,
Excel and PowerPoint Excellent organizational skills Ability to
type correspondence and other documents in a variety of formats at
a speed necessary for job performance Knowledge of modern office
practices and procedures including business correspondence, record
keeping systems and office equipment Excellent oral and written
communications skills.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree
from an accredited college or university preferred High School
Diploma or GED required At least five years of related work
