We are seeking a full-time Coordinator of Supportive Services to join our Osborne Social Ventures (OSV) Team. An ideal candidate for this position will be a community-focused individual who shares our passion for working with people affected by the criminal legal system and using business as a tool for sustainable social impact. The Coordinator of Supportive Services for OSV is a key position on the social enterprise team and will play a large role in the success of the transitional employees hired by each of Osborne's social enterprises. This front-facing role requires someone with energy, creativity, and flexibility, dedicated to helping our participants become successful members of the workforce and positioning them for economic upward mobility. The successful candidate will have a strong team spirit and a positive and proactive approach to problem-solving. This position reports to the Director of Social of Enterprise. Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM hybrid schedule. Occasional evenings may be required. The schedule is subject to change with or without notice. Responsibilities

  • In partnership with OSV leadership and team members, the Coordinator of Supportive Services will assist participants in developing the soft skills and job skills that will allow them to succeed in transitional work and the workplace long-term;
  • The Coordinator will plan, organize, and provide supportive services such as counseling, coaching, case management, and service referrals to OSV participants to promote skill development and the acquisition of long-term employment;
  • Conduct orientations, facilitate workshops, and hold community-building activities;
  • Work as part of a team with other program staff to ensure participant success and the achievement of goals and outcomes;
  • Support program leadership to use data to plan, manage, and evaluate the effectiveness of OSV approaches, curricula and services and make changes if needed; Education
    • LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC with active NY State license Experience
      • Experience in social enterprise, workforce development, criminal justice, education, community development, or a related field
      • Experience in project management, preferably in a start-up environment
      • Experience in relating effectively to people of many different employment levels, professions, cultures, ethnic and racial groups, and national origin; Additional or relatable skills
        • An understanding of the education and employment needs of under-resourced communities
        • Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem-solve and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision
