Overview:
In partnership with NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi our teams accommodate more than 325,000 outpatient visits, more than 100,000 emergency room visits and more than 20,000 inpatient admissions annually. NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi is renowned for The Trauma Center, staffed to treat any traumatic injury or illness, the fully accredited Breast Health Center, and The Burn Center, with more than 40 years of work in burn care. The hospital also serves patients of many other needs. -The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College of Yeshiva University.

Responsibilities:
-Exciting opportunity for Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to be part of a new project. - -Health + Hospitals is starting an early mobility program in the ICU setting. - PTAs will be assisting Physical - Therapists responsible for every stage of mobility from bed activities to ambulation. - State of the art equipment will be used to help improve mobility. - PTAs will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. - There will be open communication with the physicians on the unit they are assigned to ensure optimum mobility while maintaining safety and proper precautions. - -This program will be seven days a week so PTAs will have a work schedule that includes one of the weekend days. - - -

Qualifications:
- -NYS licensed Physical Therapist Assistant -Desire to work hard and make a difference -Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required prior to hire - -EOE M/F/D/V
