Primary Responsibilities: Greets patients, family members and guests with a friendly smile Assists patients with signing in and completing registration Enters and scans patient's demographic and insurance information into Epic Verifies insurance eligibility and benefit information; informs patients of insurance benefits Collects co-payments and patient balances Answers incoming phone calls in a courteous and prompt manner; directs calls and takes messages Assists physician and clinical staff by coordinating follow up care for patients; schedules referral appointments for patients and obtains authorization for diagnostic testing Sends patient records to primary care physician Assists with other tasks as assigned You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: High school education or equivalent experience Customer service experience and solid computer skills Ability to work a 7.5-hour shift between 7:15am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role.
