best work.(sm) Location: 1167 Wantagh Ave, Wantagh, NY 11793 Work
Hours: Schedules vary between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Monday-Friday. May be asked to work 1 weekend shift (37.5 hours a
week) Primary Responsibilities:
- Welcomes patients and visitors with a smile and friendly
tone
- Checks patients in and out of the clinic
- Verifies patient identity and insurance
- Takes copayments in accordance with patients' insurance
plans
- Schedules patient appointments and maintains the schedule as
adjustments are required
- Answers phones promptly and professionally
- Transfers calls or takes messages appropriately
- Displays complete understanding of patient check-in forms and
clearly describes information to patients and visitors as
needed
- Calls patients to confirm future appointments
- Performs other duties as requiredYou'll be rewarded and

- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency in general computer use and
Microsoft Office
- Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this
role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster
doses must also comply with those state requirements. UnitedHealth
Group will adhere to all federal, state and local regulations as
well as all client requirements and will obtain necessary proof of
vaccination, and boosters when applicable, prior to employment to

- 1+ years of medical office experience
- Excellent customer service skills

residents is $16.00 to $27.31. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
