Job Description:

My client is URGENTLY seeking an experienced--Party--Chief with experience in crew managament, data collections for engineering and land surveys, construction layouts and GPS data collections.Responsibilities

• Perform surveying activities on behalf of the company
• Maintain relationships with clients/residents
• Assist in training of staff members
• Monitor quality of work product
• Meet with job supervisors, clients, inspectors, contractors, etc., when necessary, and as a representative of the company, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Perform field task in the most expeditious manner possible while maintaining accuracy.
• Ensure that all work is conducted safely, i.e. safety vests, traffic cones, signs, flagman if required, etc.
• Review field work with the Professional Land Surveyor.Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to work outdoors year round
  • Ability to operate survey equipment and read plans
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Be able to work with little or no supervision
  • A current and valid driver's licensePreferred Qualifications
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying
    • Certified Survey Technician (CST) certification level 1 or 2.
    • Trimble Robotic Total Stations with TDS SurvPro or Access
    • Data Collector descriptor and line code files
    • Trimble GPS receivers
