Overview:OverviewResponsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Vacuumsand buffs floors, shampoos carpets, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans.Responsibilities:Essential Job Functions

• Perform cleaning tasks including; Sweeping and mopping floors, Cleaning toilets, urinals,hand basins, sinks, baths, showers and drinking fountains., Cleaning buildings by emptyingtrash, sweeping, dusting and cleaning surfaces,
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors afteroperating hours.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges,and squeegees.
• Light maintenance as directed by the Swept Free supervisor.
• Demonstrate professional conduct at all times. Follow the code of conduct and Agencyexpectations as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Transport Swept FREE team members to and from TRI location in Westbury to FREElocation in Bethpage.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must be able to work in a team oriented environmentQualifications:Education, Work Experience, and Competencies
    • Experience in janitorial/maintenance industry preferred.
    • Must have a valid NYS drivers licensePhysical Demands
    • Must be able to stand for 5 6 hours at a time and lift over 50lbs.FREEs Core
