Sutton Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation has a Full-time opportunity for an experienced Wound Care RNWe offer excellent benefits!Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401K (Matching)Paid Time OffMust be an RN to applyWound Care experience requiredThis position requires an organized, detail-oriented individual with knowledge of prevention and treatment of wounds and the leadership qualities to supervise wound care.The ideal candidate will be professional, dependable and self-motivated.Customary Duties:Responsible for management of preventative wound program and wound treatment programsEnsures accuracy in documentation and information provided to physicians, residents and their responsible partiesComplete the weekly wound analysis report.Provides patient, family and staff education regarding wound management, prevention of pressure ulcers, support surfaces, dressing selections and other therapies.Is a resource person for physicians wound team and clinical staff.Conduct wound rounds weekly and provide report to the Director of NursingRequirements:Registered Nursing in New York - 3-5 years' experienceWound Certification is preferred but not required.Minimum of 1-year experience in Wound Care at a SNFBasic knowledge regarding the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers, arterial, venous and diabetic wounds as well as other wounds such as surgical woundsOrganized and detail-orientedFlexible and dependableAble to work independently & efficientlyFamiliar with Electronic Medical Records (Sigma Care)Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.Participates in the performance improvement plan of the organization.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50.00-55.00 per hourSchedule: Day shift, M-F
