Job Description:

A consumer products company on Long Island is actively seeking a dedicated and hardworking professional to join their staff as their new -Senior Business Analyst. In this role, the -Senior Business Analyst researches, plans, and evaluates the effectiveness of processes, systems, procedures, or methodologies through review and evaluation of detailed data. -Responsibilities The Senior Business Analyst:

• Leads the analysis, research and support with the development of new business process, new application systems, and software support and applications maintenance in order to create and implement new solutions
• Collects and analyzes business requirements for large, multi-functional projects
• Gathers information on projects or groups to be supported, provided analysis on processes and applications, and makes recommendations for internal or external software process development
• Interviews end users, management, and customers to provide an accurate analysis of the business flow and develop and document the scope of the project
• Performs feasibility studies, translating requirements into appropriate design
• Provides end user training
• Provides project/change management skills for supporting business and system process re-engineering
• Evaluates application software packages and make recommendations to managementQualifications
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ -years of related experience
  • Significant experience in having analyzed and architected business process workflow activities for customer in either horizontal or vertical business applications
  • Detailed knowledge in technology with specific background in general IT applications and infrastructure, as well as effective methodology for driving workflow in key business applications/processes
  • Proven success as a Business Analyst and ability to manage multiple projects of various sizes simultaneously
  • Proficient in IT technologies and in communicating technically with client IT professionals
  • Proven ability to provide excellent client servicesDesired skills
