Job Description:

Willing to pay 10k in relocation costs and 10k sign on bonusAssembly of scientific grade spectrometer units which include spectrometers, electronics and mechanical housings. Manufacturing of cable accessories for the spectrometer assembly. Spectrometer units are assembled as per manufacturing instructions with high quality control. Knowledge of operating of electro-mechanical assembly tools, power supplies, test tools are a required skill for this job functionality.Responsibilities and Duties:--- Assembly of mechanical and electronics parts with fiber-optic modules.--- Modification of electronic boards, i.e. soldering of SMD components.--- Manufacturing of accessory cables i.e. crimping or soldering of wires to connectors.--- Testing of assembled units.--- Packaging of assembled units.Requirements:--- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.--- Knowledge of handling electronics and mechanical parts.--- Ability to read and follow assembly and verbal instructions.--- Ability to use hand tools for assembly and soldering irons.--- PC knowledge, hardware and software (Word, Excel, Outlook)All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
