Hourly Positions with a designated work location in New York City,
Nassau, Rockland, Suffolk, or Westchester Counties will receive a

Responsibilities Are you passionate about the use of digital
technologies for public health? Health Research, Inc. is seeking an
Hourly Project Assistant II to work within the AIDS Institute’s
Office of the Medical Director. The Hourly Project Assistant II
will support the Digital Health Initiative which focuses on the
research, development, implementation, and evaluation of digital
tools to impact the AIDS Institute’s mission and goals. The Digital
Health Initiative’s programs educate AIDS Institute staff and
constituents about the various ways digital technologies enhance
access to health information and the delivery of healthcare
services. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on
experience in public health communication, digital health
technology and build workforce capacity by equipping participants
with critical digital and social media skills that will be
essential for managing future public health challenges. Minimum
Qualifications Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a
related educational program/field. Preferred Qualifications A
demonstrated interest in public health, technology, and community
empowerment. Experience in social media platforms and digital tools
(e.g., content creation, social media management, graphic design,
etc.). Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a
team. Conditions of Employment Hourly, grant funded position
expected to last through 08/31/2026. Compliance with funding
requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables,
and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted
authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is
not available for this position. Travel up to 10 % of the time will
be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable
commuting distance of the official work location specified in the
job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to
one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut,
Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire. This position is eligible
for a hybrid work schedule, with a combination of onsite and remote

Expectations At HRI, the nature of hybrid and onsite work varies by
position. Some roles require full onsite presence, while others
allow a hybrid schedule. Managers determine the specific
telecommuting expectations for each role based on operational needs

your time between working remotely and reporting onsite. Regardless
of telecommuting status, all HRI employees must live within a
