(Temp-to-Perm) Montvale, NJ (Onsite) $70,000-$90,000 annually upon
permanent hire LHH is partnering with a growing, stable
organization in Montvale, NJ seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to
join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is an
excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys
hands-on work, ownership of processes, and the ability to make an
impact within a collaborative finance team. Position Overview The
Senior Staff Accountant will support the accounting department with
general ledger maintenance, month-end close, reconciliations, and
financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented,
proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries Perform monthly
bank and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end
close processes Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Support accounts payable and receivable as needed Assist with
financial statement preparation Analyze variances and provide
reporting support Partner with auditors during audit cycles
Identify and recommend process improvements Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 3-6 years of
accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP Experience with
general ledger and month-end close Proficiency in Excel (pivot
tables, VLOOKUPs preferred) ERP experience preferred Strong
